For you to fully understand what it means to live a Titus 2 life, I encourage you to read the entire second chapter of Titus. It is a powerful section of scripture that gives instruction, and boundaries for life during all seasons. It applies to both men and Women but this blog will focus on the ladies and our role as the helpmate, and homemaker. Even if you make a living outside the home, your first commitment is always your family. The enemy has planted the seed of burden in the minds of women all over the world. And instead of finding great joy in fulfilling the role of wife and mommy, too many are grumbling and complaining about their privilege. It’s time for Women to rise up, and get excited about their role, and cast out the spirit of disconnect that is plaguing women around the world that’s preventing them from enjoying the lives God has blessed them with.
Below you will find Titus 2. Remember as you are reading savor God’s Holy word. Take time to enjoy the digestion process of His meat for our lives. I can promise you this; if you stay within the parameters He has set of us, you will feel more fulfilled than you ever have. You will bubble over satisfaction and enjoyment that comes with living the life our King has set out for us. Enjoy!
But for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you. Exhort bond servants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you. (Titus 2:1-15 NKJV)
